In October 2017, Samsara’s integrated platform helped Moore Food save over $250,000 after a major accident occurred. One of their trucks was traveling on the highway at 65 mph when a car struck it and caused the truck to tip over, pass through the guardrail, and fall down an embankment. Because Samsara automatically retrieves dash cam footage of harsh incidents, Moore Food was able to send video files to law enforcement and insurance companies within five minutes of the accident, proving their driver was not at fault.
