Strengthening Canadian operations: How domestic fulfillment is helping customers move faster

To better support our customers, we introduced a new Canadian-based fulfillment strategy earlier this year. Through our partnership with Ottawa Logistics, nearly all Samsara hardware now ships from within Canada. 

By shifting logistics operations domestically, we’re shortening delivery times, reducing freight and compliance costs, and minimizing cross-border complexity. The result is a faster, smoother, and more cost-effective experience for Canadian customers.

With domestic fulfillment in place, customers are now benefiting from:

  • More predictable and reliable delivery timelines

  • Reduced import-related and logistics costs

Built to scale with Canadian infrastructure

Ottawa Logistics provides the foundation behind this strategy. The company operates more than 250,000 square feet of secure, climate-controlled warehouse space and processes over 40,000 direct-to-consumer orders every week. A full-time team of 55 employees—growing to 75 during peak seasons—now manages outbound shipments for Samsara across the country, supporting efficient and dependable delivery at scale.

This fulfillment model represents more than a logistical upgrade—it is a long-term investment in our Canadian customers. By reducing friction in the delivery process, we’re helping teams access the technology they need without delay. That means fewer operational hurdles and more time spent focusing on safety, productivity, and customer service.

With Samsara hardware now shipping from within Canada, customers benefit from faster delivery, fewer cross-border delays, and a more consistent fulfillment experience.
