A lot happens over the course of a year on the road, and it isn’t always easy to grasp the full impact of all that work. That’s why visibility matters. Data helps teams understand where they’ve been, what they’ve achieved and where they can go next. Your Year in Review brings all of this together in one place, giving you a clear look at your team’s 2025 performance across safety, fuel efficiency and day-to-day operations. It’s a custom snapshot of the difference your team made this year.

Before you dive into your personalised metrics, it’s worth taking a look at the bigger picture. Across the Samsara community, customers travelled more than 90 billion miles more safely in 2025. Frontline workers spent 2.2 billion hours on the road: a scale of effort that reflects the essential work happening every day. This collective data sets the stage for your own Year in Review report and shows the impact that teams like yours make across the world.

Driving safer than ever

In 2025, customers continued to build safer operations with the support of AI. Organisations using Samsara saw 73% lower crash rates*, and teams reviewed 17% more safety events and delivered 11.7 million coaching moments.

Tools like the Performance Overview Dashboard help safety leaders and managers track trends, quantify improvements, and guide drivers with targeted, data-driven coaching.

Jordan Carriers used this visibility to measure progress and refine their safety programme throughout the year. “Because of the Performance Overview Dashboard, we have proof that our numbers are increasing based on the right approaches in coaching,” said Otis Anderson, Safety Compliance Analyst at Jordan Carriers.

Making every gallon count

Customers also continued to focus on improving fuel efficiency throughout the year, using Samsara to identify trends, reduce waste and track the impact of small operational changes. In 2025, the Samsara community achieved an average of 12.8 mpg, which is a 4% improvement on the previous year, and saved a combined 990.7 million litres of fuel.

Fuel reports, idling insights and behaviour-based metrics help teams quantify where fuel is being lost and where improvements are paying off. That’s exactly what Cappagh Browne saw once they gained clearer insight into their operations.

“One week after our first stand-down safety session, we reduced adverse driving behaviours by 95%. It’s all about awareness. Once drivers understood the risks, they were motivated to self-correct unsafe habits themselves. Educating drivers on best practice around vehicle idling as well is paying  dividends – we’ve already seen a 10% reduction in overall fuel spend,” said Matthew Reid, Head of Plant & Transport at Cappagh Browne.

Your Samsara experience

This year, many teams deepened their use of Samsara’s reporting and AI tools to work more efficiently and make faster, more informed decisions. Customers engaged with Samsara Assistant more than 695,200 times, and reports such as Drivers' Hours, Driver Documents, Cameras, Safety Inbox and Unassigned Drivers' Hours were among the most viewed.

AI Insights also helped leaders surface patterns automatically, turning large volumes of data into clear summaries that highlight where improvements are happening and where attention is needed next.

Sysco GB experienced this first hand as they scaled their safety reviews. “We’ve moved away from having a hard drive in each vehicle to a completely innovative and efficient system. The combined technology now vets 90% of footage via AI, and all the information is accessible via a single platform. So, when we need to investigate an event, our fleet managers don’t spend hours looking for the information – it’s already there,” said Paul Duncalf, Safety, Training, and Fleet Compliance Director at Sysco GB.
