Think of the fleet manager who turned around a fleet’s safety scores, the operations leader who streamlined a maintenance programme as their fleet scaled or the team that found a better way to roll out an entirely new workflow across thousands of vehicles. Lessons like these rarely show up in a website FAQ or chatbot response, and many people only get a few chances a year to attend industry events where they might hear them first-hand.
To find these kinds of insights and deep expertise whenever you need them, you need a community of peers. And now, Samsara offers just that.
Today, we’re introducing the Samsara Community, a dedicated online space where Samsara customers can turn everyday operational experience into knowledge that helps the entire community grow. It’s a place to connect with peers, share what’s working and find the resources you need to succeed, all in one place. And over time, we want it to become the place operations leaders everywhere come for guidance sharing and networking. From 29 July 2026, the Samsara Community will be open to all Samsara customers and trial users with dashboard access.
When you join, you’ll take part in a global network of operators who understand your challenges and value your ideas. You can make networking and connecting with peers a daily experience.
Read on to learn more about what you’ll get when you take part in the Samsara Community.
Some of the best Samsara knowledge lives in the heads of operators who’ve already faced the problem you’re working on, whether that’s navigating union conversations, transitioning from forward-facing to dual-facing cameras or launching a fleet-wide safety programme. The Community is where you can find people in organisations like yours who have solved challenges like these and can share exactly how they did it.
Ask a question in a product-specific forum and get best practices and insights from someone with deep real-world experience using that product. For example, Community members asking about what type of Asset Tag to put on which equipment for the most effective tracking. Alternatively, you can join an industry or regional group and follow conversations that are directly relevant to how you work. Whether you manage a fleet of 20 or 20,000, there are people in the Community who understand what your day-to-day operations look like and can help.
“Eventually, fleets usually run into similar problems, but at a public agency, we don't usually get to compare notes with peers who are working on the same issues," said Drew Newstrom, Program Manager, Fleet Services at the City of Fort Lauderdale. "Often, the best ideas come from other agencies, not vendors or consultants. Having a place like the Samsara Community, where we can share ideas instead of hearing about them at a conference, is incredibly useful."
When you're trying to solve a problem, the most relevant answers don't always come from the same place. In some cases, documentation can be helpful, while in others you need the full story about how another customer solved the same challenge. The Samsara Community brings this type of information, and more, together in one place.
With one search, you can find relevant community discussions alongside Knowledge Base articles, Samsara Academy courses, announcements, events and other resources. Whether you're looking for best practices from your peers or Samsara product information, you can quickly find what you need so you can get back to running your day-to-day operations.
The Samsara Community isn't just a place to find answers; it can be a place to build knowledge, and to grow your network and your career. You can find speaking opportunities and mentorship, as well as learn about Spark, Samsara’s exclusive programme that gives customers a direct voice in shaping what we build next.
Moreover, when you engage in and contribute to the Community, you can earn points and badges that showcase your expertise. Time and time again, we’ve seen that the most valuable insights come from customers solving problems together, and the Samsara Community is where that happens.
The Samsara Community is built by and for people like you, the hardworking individuals who keep physical operations running. We’re excited to launch the Community, and we can’t wait to see how it grows.
You can join the Community using your Samsara dashboard credentials. Follow the Getting Started guide to set up your profile, join a group and post your first question.
