We recommend mounting positions for dash cams that avoid obstructing the driver’s line of sight, which aligns with typical DVS principles. For HGVs, the suggested location is the lower-middle of the windscreen, provided this does not block any critical view. For lighter commercial vehicles, the upper-middle area is ideal.
