Weather Overlay: Get the Latest Radar in Your Fleet’s Area

September 13, 2018

Hurricane Florence is expected to affect millions of people over the next few days, including fleets on the East Coast. In times like these, we know how important it is to have the latest weather information to keep your fleets safe.

In the interest of giving you real-time visibility into the hurricane and how it impacts your drivers, we’re releasing a new feature ahead of schedule: Weather Overlay.

Weather Overlay is a new map layer that offers visibility into the current weather radar in your fleet’s area. This will give you access to critical information so you can make the best decisions for your fleet.

With the additional weather data, you can:

  • Keep drivers safe by navigating them out of potentially dangerous areas.
  • Run your fleet efficiently by avoiding unforeseen road-blocks due to inclement weather.

Weather Overlay is part of Samsara’s complete platform, providing you with the information you need, when you need it, to run your fleet safely and efficiently. This new feature is included as part of your Samsara dashboard, at no extra cost to you.

Be safe out there.
