Now available: 360° HD visibility and real-time alerts with the AI Multicam

AI Multicam complements Samsara’s AI Dash Cam to provide full visibility in and around the vehicle. The system supports:

• 360° visibility with HD clarity on up to four auxiliary camera feeds

• Real-time risk detection using AI on all camera streams with audible in-cab alerts

• Real-time driver assistance with a live, in-cab monitor feed

• Greater incident context with optional audio recording¹

• Convenient incident review with access to recordings directly within the Samsara dashboard

• On-device storage that can be expanded with encrypted microSD for 500+ hours of on-device footage

Moreover, users can mount up to four auxiliary cameras as needed on vehicle sides, rear, interior or specialised locations such as lift arms on waste management trucks.

This solution helps drivers manoeuvre more confidently by eliminating blind spots – whether reversing, changing lanes or navigating confined worksites – and gives managers the tools to quickly review incidents with full clarity.

New AI detection: Pedestrian Collision Warning

AI Multicam is built with processing power to support a growing suite of advanced AI detections. This foundation enables Samsara to continually expand safety coverage for new use cases and industry-specific risks.

To address the most critical, high-impact scenarios, the first AI detection available at launch is Pedestrian Collision Warning, supported on side, rear and dash cameras. This innovative AI detection provides drivers real-time visual aids via the in-cab monitor and audible alerts to help avoid serious, high-liability collisions, such as pedestrians near turning vehicles and bystanders behind large buses. This sophisticated AI model can also distinguish between true risk and safe scenarios, such as pedestrians on pavements.
