Introducing Samsara Driver Perks, exclusive offers and discounts for professional drivers

That's why we wanted to build something that recognizes drivers not just for the work they do, but for the people they are on and off the road.

Today, we’re excited to introduce Samsara Driver Perks, a free benefit for Samsara customers that gives professional drivers access to exclusive discounts and offers across categories like food, wellness, gear, services, and more. It’s the first rewards program built for professional drivers that’s free to drivers and requires no cost to the fleet. Available now in the U.S., with plans to expand globally, these offers give each eligible driver up to $350 USD* in annual savings.

Built with drivers, for drivers

We started by listening to drivers. Members of the Samsara Driver Council, a group of more than 150 professional drivers, told us directly about the categories and types of perks that would be most valuable to them. We also surveyed hundreds of drivers across our customers' organizations nationwide, and we found that drivers wanted practical, everyday value, and offers that support their health, interests, and lives beyond the road.

Many keep a coffee maker or a griddle in the cab and cover those supplies out of pocket, so savings on food and coffee show up in their week right away. 75% of drivers surveyed said they spend their own money on meals while on the road for work. 71% chose a safe, comfortable place to rest among what they need most during the workday. Looking beyond the road, 64% chose fitness and wellness among the products and services they value most.

Samsara Driver Perks is the result of that input. Drivers in the Samsara customer network now get real savings and special offers on the things they actually want and need, both on and off the job. Minutes to start. Savings that matter. 

The perks are easy for drivers to use, and it only takes a few minutes to get started. For fleets and organizations, there's nothing to build or manage. Here’s how it works: 

• Access the perks. Drivers access perks through the Samsara Driver App, or via a direct web link/QR code shared by their organization.

• Browse by category. Offers span automotive and travel, food and beverage, style and home, and wellness and fitness, with more than 50 brands and growing. 

• Redeem directly with the brand. Each partner sets its own offer terms, and drivers claim their discount straight from the brand. No extra account or app is required.

Give drivers what they’ve earned

Driver Perks is one piece of Samsara's broader effort to build great experiences for frontline workers, alongside programs like the Samsara Driver Council and the Samsara Driver Cup. Built with operators, for operators means listening first and building second. Engaged drivers drive safer, stay longer, and build stronger companies.
