Investing in our Partners: Expansions to the Samsara Partner Program

Over the past year we have worked to build strong relationships with a variety of strategic partners across the fleet & industrial business - from resellers, systems integrators, technology partners, and insurance providers - all with the end goal of being able to offer the best solutions for our customers. 

Today, Samsara is excited to announce significant updates to our Partner Program, encompassing both our fleet and industrial channel partners.

New Enablement Programs

This month, we are launching Owl Academy—an online training program to better enable and support all of our partners when it comes to positioning Samsara fleet and industrial management solutions. These training courses cover a variety of topics, ranging from how to take advantage of the benefits of our Samsara Partner Program, to enablement topics like customer profiles and buying personas, to more in-depth dashboard demonstrations of key product features. 

We also recently launched the Samsara Flywheel Certification program. This program offers in-depth technical training for partners to better understand our industrial product offerings and how you can build additional services around them. 

With these investments, Samsara is doubling down on aspects of the program that have proven to be successful for our partners, including dedicated support and custom programs, while also branching into new areas like training and enablement. We know that our partners want to support their customers in all aspects of their business, from IT to operations. We also understand that you want help enabling your teams to confidently handle these conversations. Our channel team is dedicated to helping you with this. 

Samsara and Our Partners

The Samsara Partnerships team supports a wide variety of partner types. Some of our existing partnerships include CDW, Connection, and insurance partners such as Progressive, RLI Insurance, and Canal Insurance. We are continuously working to identify opportunities to bring new benefits and additional value to our partners. In the past year, the team has empowered partners to launch around 200 unique programs to help them achieve their goals with Samsara.  

Samsara’s technology allows partners to help customers solve big problems in innovative ways, including through managed services that extend beyond the Samsara platform. Partners like Neal Systems, have found success as a Samsara integration partner for our Industrial products. Stephen Arnold, VP of Systems at Neal Systems states, “The biggest advantage of working with Samsara is the speed at which we can deploy. They’ve collapsed multiple parts of the industrial automation tech stack into a solution that literally works out of the box.” With the global Industrial IoT market projected to grow to $115B by 2024, according to a new market intelligence report by BIS research, there is significant opportunity for our partners to capture strong upfront margin via resale or tap into recurring revenue streams with managed services, while bringing powerful technology to a new line of business - their customers’ operations.
