Samsara and Hyundai Translead announce strategic partnership to revolutionize 360-degree trailer visibility

Samsara is expanding its safety offering with a new integration featuring Hyundai Translead’s HT LinkVue system — a factory-installed trailer visibility solution providing 360-degree monitoring. This collaboration enhances fleet safety, security, and operational efficiency, offering advanced trailer monitoring across North America.

By utilizing Samsara’s Safety Solution with Camera Connector, the HT LinkVue system wirelessly transmits video from the trailer directly to the cab’s receiver (Exhibit A). This eliminates the need for complex rewiring, reducing installation costs, and minimizing downtime. The Samsara system integrates HT LinkVue video streams, providing fleet managers with comprehensive event review (Exhibit B) — all while maintaining a user-friendly interface in the cab (Exhibit C).

• Centralized fleet management: Managers can access real-time and historical footage from both trailers and cabs within Samsara’s unified platform for consistent reporting and streamlined decision-making. 

Samsara has a proven track record of integrating with leading camera providers, including Pro-Vision, Safety Vision, ACSS, and Ubiknos. This partnership with Hyundai Translead strengthens Samsara’s ability to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions for real-time trailer monitoring.

Pre-Delivery Installation (PDI) at Hyundai Translead Factory

As part of the expanding partnership, Hyundai Translead is now an Authorized PDI Program partner, allowing Samsara products to be installed and activated before a trailer leaves the factory.

By integrating Samsara’s Asset Gateways, Asset Trackers, Door Monitors, Cargo Monitors, and Environmental Monitors directly into Hyundai Translead’s manufacturing process, — fleets receive trailers that are ready to connect from day one, reducing installation time, ensuring quality, and accelerating time to value.

This factory-enabled approach allows customers to bring trailers online faster while maintaining a consistent, scalable deployment experience across their fleet.
