StreamTech Industrial is an environmental services provider specializing in industrial cleaning, hydro excavation, waste management, and environmental remediation for customers across the U.S. Operating from seven locations, the company manages a diverse fleet of pick-up trucks, semi-trucks, vac trucks, hydro excavators, and forklifts, supported by approximately 300 drivers.

Before adopting Samsara, StreamTech's vehicles were not equipped with dash cams, leaving the company without visibility into driver behavior and exposed to potential claims. At the same time, critical DOT compliance tasks, safety tracking, and driver coaching were managed with pen and paper, while maintenance relied on reminder stickers and driver follow-through rather than a centralized platform. To modernize and standardize their operations, StreamTech decided on Samsara as a single platform to manage telematics, safety, maintenance, work orders, and asset tracking. StreamTech then executed a comprehensive rollout, installing AI Dash Cams and restructuring their system with clearly defined tags, attributes, and user permissions. The company also deployed Asset Tag to manage high-value equipment and implemented Connected Maintenance to create a preventative maintenance program supported by digitized DVIR and AI invoice scanning. StreamTech transformed their safety culture by rolling out dual-facing AI Dash Cams and digitizing previously manual safety processes. By combining in-cab alerts, automated coaching, and clear accountability policies, the company dramatically improved driver behavior in a short period of time. Safety scores increased by over 20 points to an average of 86, while drowsy driving events were completely eliminated.
