We are proud to announce that Samsara is rated No. 1 on G2's Overall Grid Report® for Fleet Management for the seventh consecutive quarter. We didn't just earn the top spot—we swept every No. 1 ranking across Fleet Management, Asset Management, and Asset Tracking, earning the top rating across all four segments in each category: Overall, Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Small Business (SMB). 

It's the second consecutive quarter Samsara has swept the Fleet Management category, the sixth consecutive quarter we’ve swept the Asset Management category, and the seventh consecutive quarter we’ve swept the Asset Tracking category—making Samsara the undisputed customer choice at every level of the market. Samsara also swept the Fleet Management Usability Index for the fifth straight quarter, reflecting a platform that customers find easier to use than any competitor, at every scale.

A sweep across the board

G2 publishes dozens of Grid® Reports and Index Reports every quarter, covering every category and segment. A single G2 metric can be cherry-picked to tell a story. The fuller picture—looking across every category and segment—is the one worth reading.

Samsara didn't just earn the No. 1 rating in a few sub-categories or sub-findings. We swept entire categories, continuing quarter after quarter of dominance across the board:

• Swept Fleet Management: Samsara ranked No. 1 on the Overall, Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Small Business Summer 2026 Grid® Reports for Fleet Management—the seventh consecutive quarter at the top of the Overall Grid® and the second straight quarter sweeping the entire category.

• Swept Asset Management: Samsara swept this category for the sixth consecutive quarter, ranking No. 1 on the Overall, Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Small Business Summer 2026 Grid® Reports for Asset Management—plus the Canada Regional Grid® Report.

Head-to-head comparison: More No. 1 rankings than any other fleet technology brand—by a landslide

This quarter, Samsara earned the No. 1 spot on 23 separate Summer 2026 Grid® Reports. Motive holds just two—both for Momentum Grid® Reports only. The gap isn't close.

The category-level data tells an even more compelling story:

• Samsara is the sole Leader in Fleet Maintenance. No other vendor—including Motive—holds Leader status in the Fleet Maintenance Grid® Report. Our G2 Score of 99 is more than double Motive's 45, and quadruple Geotab's 22. This is a 54-point gap that no competitor comes close to closing; we’ll dig into why below.

• Highest enterprise satisfaction for four straight quarters. In the latest Enterprise Grid® Report for Fleet Management, Samsara's satisfaction score of 96 leads Motive by 11 points. Geotab's enterprise satisfaction sits at 36—despite appearing as a Leader on the Overall Grid, driven by small business review volume. This is the fourth consecutive quarter Samsara has earned the highest enterprise satisfaction. For enterprise buyers, the data is decisive.

• More reviews. More trust. Samsara's rankings are powered by nearly 4,000 verified reviews on G2—roughly 34% more than Motive. The more customers who weigh in, the harder it is to cherry-pick a favorable cut of the data.

Why we win: Rated No. 1 for usability, results, and relationships

Samsara didn't just win Grid® rankings this quarter—we swept the indexes that measure what customers actually experience day to day. Samsara ranked No. 1 across all four Fleet Management Usability Indexes (Overall, Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Small Business), and earned the No. 1 ranking on various Results, Relationship, and Implementation Indexes as well.

In total, Samsara ranked No. 1 in 23 different Summer 2026 Index Reports—again, more than any other fleet technology brand. That breadth reflects something the Grid® ranking alone doesn't capture: customers don't just choose Samsara. They succeed with it.

This is because our customers are able to get up and running quickly and see value fast. According to the latest data (G2’s Summer 2026 Overall and Small Business Grid® Reports for Fleet Management), Samsara customers go live in an average of 1.7 months overall. For small business customers, that drops to 1.1 months—faster than Motive, Verizon, and Lytx. Time-to-value is equally fast. Samsara customers reach ROI in an average of 9 months overall—5 months faster than the 14-month overall average across all vendors. For small business customers specifically, Samsara's 9-month time to ROI beats Motive's 10 months.

Maintenance: Where the gap is impossible to ignore

While Samsara leads across every category this quarter, one area stands out as a particular point of differentiation: Fleet Maintenance.

In Fleet Maintenance, there is exactly one G2 Leader. It's Samsara—for the seventh consecutive quarter. Motive is not a Leader in this category. Lytx and Verizon Connect don't appear in it at all.

In the Summer 2026 G2 Overall Grid® Report for Fleet Maintenance, Samsara earned:

• 99 G2 Score—more than double Motive's 45, and quadruple Geotab's 22. A 54-point gap that no competitor comes close to closing.
