Custom Transport operates across 49 states and Canada, hauling dry bulk, food-grade liquids, plastics, and fuel for some of the world's most well-known companies. To protect drivers, stay compliant, and meet customer expectations, the company depends on technology that is reliable, real time, and easy to scale. Custom Transport depended on Lytx for video safety and Omnitracs for ELDs, but both systems left critical gaps.

"Lytx would miss low‑speed crashes and other types of impacts that weren't tagged as a harsh brake," said Casey Driggers, Executive VP of Safety and Personnel. "Or, drivers had to manually hit a button, which they would forget to do in the heat of the moment. That meant incidents just weren't getting recorded." At the same time, Omnitracs presented its own challenges. GPS updates were only provided every 15 minutes, and compliance teams were left working with incomplete data.

Without reliable video and real-time data, the safety team struggled to exonerate drivers and address risky behaviors before they escalated. Instead of incremental changes, Custom Transport needed a new approach to their technology.
